International Standard Achieved By PEC

Bradford-based contracting, manufacturing and shopfitting company PEC is confident it will have a bumper 2014 and is celebrating being rewarded for its commitment to quality standards with an international quality mark.

With UK construction companies reportedly optimistic about growth prospects in 2014 http://www.construction-manager.co.uk/news/short-term-drop-34-growth-forecast-2014/  , PEC managing director Sohan Panesar said the business is in good shape and ready to deliver projects for national clients including Bupa and Homebase, as well as international clients including US restaurant chain Bubba Gump Shrimp Co, which is opening its first European outlet in London’s Trocadero.

The family-owned business has achieved ISO9001:2008 accreditation for its quality management systems covering the full range of activities performed by the 150-strong team.

“We have always been and continue to remain focused on delivering first-class services and projects for our clients. We are a results-focused company, but that doesn’t mean we chase business targets at the expense of our clients.

“It means a great deal to the whole team that we have achieved this highly-regarded international quality standard, which reflects the hard work and professionalism of everyone from our electricians, plumbers and decorators to the project managers and office staff,” said Sohan.
