P.E.C were tasked with the remodelling of the existing 1st floor classrooms into new science labs complete with teaching and student pods with smart boards.
Working in phases, whilst the school was fully operational, P.E.C. stripped out the existing 1st floor classrooms, installing temporary platform scaffolding to protect classroom equipment.
The P.E.C. joinery team manufactured the new teaching and student pods with the provision of 4 x 2 way gas taps, laboratory swan neck water tap, sink and waste which sat on Trespa Athlon worktops and fully accessible, lockable décor panel base units.
With the Mechanical & Electrical works providing the new science labs with fume cupboards and smart teaching boards.
The works also included the demolition of existing walls, and some structural steel works to create a larger teaching space.
The flooring and decorating works created an outstanding finish to the labs which are now been enjoyed by the students and staff alike.
