Following the successful completion of several projects at the Bupa Cromwell Private Hospital, P.E.C. secured an exciting four-phase contract with Genesis Healthcare to provide patient services.
The project included upgrading the existing treatment bunkers to incorporate state-of-the-art facilities for radiotherapy and Gamma Knife procedures.
The project entailed installing 40 tonnes of steel plating for enhanced protection and conducting precise diamond drilling to remove sections of structural concrete walls and flooring within the specialised bunker.
Remarkably, all tasks were accomplished without causing any disruption in noise or dust to the hospital’s operations.
Thanks to thorough planning and a strong focus on personnel and formal communication, the successful completion of this project has ensured uninterrupted patient care across all operational areas.
