P.E.C. were commissioned by Hyndburn Borough Council with the refurbishment of the grade 2 listed Accrington Market Hall.
With the project been at the heart of the Councils ambitious development plans to regenerate the town centre and encourage economical development.
This multi-phase scheme saw P.E.C. been appointed the Principle Contractor for the refurbishment and as such we provided a site-based Project Manager for the duration of the project.
The initial phase of the works involved the modernisation and refurbishment of the offices and business hub situated on the buildings balcony.
With the 2nd phase focusing in on the refurb of the ground floor and existing market trade franchises.
The works involved numerous individual businesses, and the finished product was a testament to the spirit of communication and willingness to see a successful outcome to this complex project that sits in the heart of Accrington town centre.
