P.E.C. were charged with the alteration and refurbishment of two grade 2 listed Georgian terrace houses into a pre-school teaching facility.
The works began with a full strip out, followed by demolition, which included the removal of the existing staircase, as well as extensive building repairs.
The works also included structural alterations to accommodate the new bespoke staircase, with internal mirrored windows, that now stands proudly at the heart of the building.
Full M&E design and installation was completed, and the 4-floor refurbishment saw the creation of modern and colourful classrooms alongside a new kitchen area and washroom facilities.
In addition, the refurbishment included the reconditioning of feature fireplaces, and the creation of cosy nooks with comfy chairing for visitors, staff and students alike.
P.E.C. was proud to deliver this remarkable refurbishment that acknowledged the Georgian history of the building.
