P.E.C. took on the challenge of converting two Grade 2 listed Georgian terrace houses into a pre-school teaching facility through alteration and refurbishment.
The project commenced with a comprehensive strip-out, proceeded by demolition work, which included the removal of the original staircase, along with substantial building repairs.
The project also involved structural adjustments to accommodate the installation of a bespoke staircase, complete with internal mirrored windows, that now proudly stands at the core of the building.
Full M&E design and installation were executed, and across the four-floor refurbishment, contemporary and colourful classrooms were crafted, alongside the establishment of a new kitchen area and upgraded washroom facilities.
Furthermore, and in conjunction with all other renovations, P.E.C. restored the feature fireplaces and created inviting nooks furnished with comfortable seating for visitors, staff, and students alike.
P.E.C. took great pride in delivering this exceptional refurbishment, paying homage to the Georgian heritage of the building.
