In Loving Memory of Steve McMillan

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear ex-employee, colleague and friend Steve McMillan.  Steve worked with us from 2002 to January 2020. Jack Johnson & Jake Troy.  As PEC are about to take on several new apprentices next week, we ask two of their continuing apprentices about their experiences with the company so far. Bright Idea Reduces Business Energy Costs

Contracting, manufacturing and shopfitting company PEC has identified a growing demand from developers and landlords to reduce energy costs by installing sustainable internal and external lighting schemes. According to The Carbon Trust, lighting in buildings accounts for around a sixth of total UK electricity use. 73% is used in commercial and industrial applications, with the balance in domestic applications. On average, 25% of an organisation’s electricity costs come from lighting. PEC is working with many of its clients to deliver sustainable lighting schemes which promise significant cost-savings. PEC Completes Fit-Out Of New Urgent Primary Care Centre In Bracknell

Fit-out and finishing specialist PEC has completed a six-week transformation of an unused area at the Royal Berkshire Bracknell Healthspace into a new Urgent Care Centre. The modern clinic was handed over to specialist provider OneMedical Care at the start of April. PEC’s dedicated team remodelled the existing space to create a large office area and waiting room, four treatment rooms, a plaster room, clean and dirty utility areas and a Patient Education Centre.
