Refurbishment and re-modelling work at a mental health centre in Keighley, West Yorkshire has been carried out by Bradford contracting, manufacturing and shopfitting company PEC. Airewharfe Community Mental Health Centre is based in Meridian House on Bradford Road. The refurbishment aimed to upgrade the facilities used by the centre, where sound transfer between meeting rooms was a problem. As principal contractor PEC managed all the works on site, installing new flooring in the clinical waste rooms, soundproofing insulation above the ceilings, new doors and frames, and specialist plumbing equipment, as well re-configuring layouts to create more interview rooms.
